Journeys Hospice Inc. Under the direction of a physician, our team of professionals offers a special kind of caring atmosphere that encompasses the medical, social, emotional and spiritual aspects of treatment. Our goal is to ensure that the patient lives the last days of life with dignity and respect, and that family members are emotionally supported.

It is in the moment when individual and familial compassion happens that the decision can be honestly made to invite the caring and supportive staff of Journeys Hospice, with their many resources, to walk the final steps of the journey with the patient and the family.

Hospice Team

Ø The hospice team provides support to ensure the highest quality of life possible for the person living with a life-limiting illness.
 Ø Hospice focuses on caring, not curing and, in most cases, care is provided in the patient’s home.
Ø Hospice care also is provided in freestanding hospice centers, hospitals, nursing homes and other long-term care facilities.
Ø Hospice services are available to patients of any age, religion, race, or illness.
Ø A short overview of services offered by the hospice team. We have a on-call nurse, when you are faced with a situation you do not know how to handle.
Ø The intent of providing an on-call nurse after hours is to meet your emergency needs. If a death occurs during on-call hours, the on-call nurse will make a home visit. Call: 208-461-3035
